Work Environment

The environment at Motion Menders Therapy fosters collaboration and professional growth. Physical therapists work in tandem with a team of dedicated colleagues, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), to provide exceptional patient care. The clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a structured and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs, goals, and treatment options.
• Create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Provide hands-on treatment to 2-3 patients per hour, focusing on orthopedic outpatient care.
• Design and implement fitness and wellness programs that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Encourage and motivate patients to reach their full potential while receiving therapy.
• Sync with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust plans accordingly to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using EMR software, such as WebPT, to record services and track patient progress.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current, active state license as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Strong clinical skills, particularly in manual therapy techniques.
• Proficient in using EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience
