Warehouse Manager

Warehouse ManagerHaddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse, yard, and delivery operations to support multiple active construction projects. This role will manage receiving, inventory organization, material distribution, routing, and fleet readiness to ensure materials and equipment are delivered accurately, safely, and on schedule. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational discipline, and a safety-first mindset, with hands-on experience managing warehouse teams and logistics in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the President and plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, jobsite support, and overall company productivity.Responsibilities:Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety proceduresKeep warehouse organized and stocked in the proper designated areaTrain and monitor the unloading of all material into the receiving area to ensure material is staged for counting and inspectingReceive and check all deliveriesEnsure all receiving slips are accurate and report all materials receivedResolve discrepancies with packing slips with proper departmentPlan and coordinate all sales orders for all company projectsDistribute material and equipment to the projects it belongs toDirect and coordinate all pick-ups and deliveries from vendors and projectsPlan all routing for deliveries to jobsites and pickups from vendors in an efficient timely mannerEnsure delivery trucks are loaded completely for next day deliveriesSupervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the property area such as the outside perimeter and the grounds to ensure all material is stored in the yard area properlyResponsible for training, motivating, monitoring and evaluating the performance of the warehouse employees to ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move material to and from the storage facilitiesConduct weekly safety toolbox talk with warehouse teamEnsure delivery trucks are clean and safe to operateResponsible for making sure delivery trucks have all lifting and loading tools needed to offload materialRequired Education and Experience:High school diplomaFive years warehouse and logistics experienceMust have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferredCompensation: $70,000 – $80,000 Annually Benefits Include:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysPaid VacationOpportunities for Career Growth and AdvancementPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-Time Position.
