Job Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Recruiter builds the top of the Admissions funnel by visiting high schools, churches, fairs, gap programs, and community colleges to generate new leads, increase LBC campus visits, promote new applications, and spark overall interest in Lancaster Bible College. Location Lancaster Campus Responsibilities Travel for extended periods of time (up to 75% of the job time), including evenings and weekends as needed. Coordinate all travel details such as registration, contacting, booking hotels and rental cars, and other related duties. Represent the College at selected conventions, retreats, college fairs, churches, and high schools. Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of traditional undergraduate program offerings and additional information to help promote the College. Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency in new student recruiting. Utilize texting, phone calls, email, and mail to communicate with prospective students in a timely manner, providing superior student service. Prepare reports and evaluations as directed by the Director of Admissions (e.g., number of contacts, inventory of college literature, college fairs). Connect with local youth pastors, high school guidance counselors, alumni, and friends of the college to build relationships and network with advocates. Qualifications Ability to travel for extended periods of time. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional representation of the Admissions department and the College. Strong ability to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment, take initiative, and be self‑motivated. Highly charismatic with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Detail‑oriented; able to keep track of and maintain a busy travel schedule. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Time‑management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word; working knowledge of Excel. Personal Qualities Desire to grow, develop, and mature, spiritually and professionally. Ability to create and maintain a Christian professional atmosphere in all relationships. Spirit of cooperation and willingness to serve others. Desire and ability to disciple and mentor students. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Sales or customer service experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to transport recruitment materials weighing 20-25 pounds.
