Phlebotomist PRN

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a casual PRN position in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, and providing patient service on an as-needed schedule with varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Process billing information and collect payments as required
• Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to additional sites
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in team environment

Compensation: $17.75 - $27.69 per hour
