Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Step Down Unit Duration: 48-hour contract Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years experience, ACLS and BLS certifications Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a medical step down unit. The unit has 16-20 beds with a patient ratio of 1 to 4. Patients may present with conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
