Phlebotomist - 2nd shift

Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 12:00pm – 8:30pm Rotating days off; every other weekend rotation Week1: 3‑day work week; Week2: 4‑day work week Rotating holidays; rotating holidays will be scheduled Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, certification or program completion must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record, if applicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test Benefits Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Employees scheduled Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule: All benefits except PTO/FTO Equal Opportunity Employer Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
