Xtrac, Inc. – Commercial Engineering Manager

Duties: Distribute project duties across engineering team to support efficient workflow; oversee daily team operations and ensure responsibilities are completed accurately and on schedule; manage customer orders through all phases, including entry process, Buildshop service schedule, inventory management, and delivery; establish and manage commercial relationships with new and existing customers; collaborate with Vice President to develop and deliver motorsport commercial strategy; monitor individual performance and team performance, including through providing feedback, coaching, and mentoring; identify new business opportunities with customers to generate leads and convert to sales; collate, review, and analyze forecasting information and key assumptions; and collaborate with financial stakeholders to ensure financial viability of customer accounts. Intermittent domestic travel required (approx. 10% work time).

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field, plus 3 years’ experience in the automotive or motorsports industry with project management, sales, account management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), programming mechatronics, and technical report writing.
