Tech - IR/Special Procedures

Job Summary:

Provide specialized interventional radiology imaging and procedures, supporting a busy IR suite. Ensure accurate patient imaging, assist during procedures, and maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate IR and catheterization lab equipment, including Philips biplane and Toshiba single-plane machines.
  
  
• 
  Assist with a variety of procedures such as PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, port placements, ablations, ESI, EKOS for PE, and Trevo for stroke.
  
  
• 
  Maintain proper certification, licensing, and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with IR nurses and staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
  
  
• 
  Support on-call duties, including weekend and weeknight responsibilities, for scheduled coverage.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active NH license and ARRT certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology or catheterization lab experience.
  
  
• 
  Proven proficiency with interventional procedures and IR equipment.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate a team-oriented approach with hardworking and adaptable personality traits.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment.
