Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create customized treatment plans
• Execute hands-on physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal patient care
• Inform patients and families about therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and home-based exercises
• Justify all evaluations, treatments, and progression in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Engage in multidisciplinary care rounds to provide integrated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, orthopedics) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desirable
