You will have the opportunity to engage with clients virtually, leveraging advanced telehealth platforms, and also participate in face-to-face interactions at our Hospice Center. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth virtual and in-person assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs, formulating a personalized treatment plan that reflects their individual circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices to effectively manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma responses.

• Facilitate regular case consultations with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring thorough communication and collaboration to enhance the continuity of care.

• Document client progress meticulously, using our electronic health record (EHR) system to keep track of treatment strategies and client feedback in a timely manner.

• Actively advocate for clients, helping them navigate community resources and services available both in-person and virtually to support their mental health journey.

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse clientele, including young adults and families navigating grief and loss within the hospice context. Your role will be pivotal in providing compassionate mental health support during one of the most challenging times in their lives, ensuring they feel understood, valued, and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited institution is required.
\n
• An active Washington State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth technologies and systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate strong relationships with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices in social work.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a clinical setting with a focus on grief, loss, and trauma is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
