The Onsite Medical Coding Manager will provide day-to-day leadership for coding operations, staff development, workload coordination, productivity, quality auditing, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement while partnering closely with Health Information Management and organizational leadership. This healthcare management role will help optimize EHR-connected coding workflows, strengthen documentation practices, monitor accuracy and turnaround expectations, interpret evolving coding guidance, and use analytics to identify improvement opportunities without replacing expert professional judgment. Collaboration with physicians, clinical documentation specialists, nurses, case management, compliance, finance, and revenue-cycle colleagues will help resolve documentation questions efficiently and support accurate representation of the care delivered.
