Newsom Eye is seeking an experienced, hands-on Vice President of Finance to oversee multi-company financials, payroll, and all core accounting operations. This role supports senior leadership and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10-15 years accounting & finance experience
• 10–15 years accounting management experience
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred
• Experience in family/private-practice organizations
• Multi-company & multi-site accounting experience
• Payroll & workers' compensation experience
• Basic tax knowledge
• Experience converting systems (payroll platforms, QuickBooks)
• Familiarity with AI tools in accounting a plus

• Oversee preparation of financial statements & reporting
• Bank reconciliations and accuracy of financial data
• Financial analysis, trends, and corrective recommendations
• Develop financial policies & procedures
• Monthly, quarterly, annual reporting

• Mentor accounting staff
• Medical billing & A/R oversight
• Coordinate with external financial entities
• Prepare monthly doctor reports
• Senior leadership scorecard preparation
• Payroll oversight & backup processing
• Workers' compensation & payroll tax support
• Health plan invoice reconciliation
• 401(k) administration
• Ensure state & federal compliance
