Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our outpatient office, you will work in a supportive and engaging environment dedicated to the highest standards of patient care. Our clinic is equipped with advanced therapy tools and modalities, including therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation units, and a comprehensive gym facility tailored for rehabilitation exercises. The full-time work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, integrating both subjective and objective data to form an accurate diagnosis of their conditions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each patient's unique circumstances and rehabilitation goals, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

• Utilize hands-on treatment techniques, therapeutic exercises, and relevant modalities to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and promote quick recovery.

• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic interventions, emphasizing critical aspects like ergonomics, posture correction, and at-home exercise protocols.

• Regularly monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to adapt to changes in their recovery or additional challenges encountered.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes to comply with regulatory standards and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population at our clinic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, or rehabilitating from sports-related injuries. Our approach focuses on personalized care, so you will deeply engage with each patient to motivate them through their recovery processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with Nevada state regulations.

• Current board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

• A minimum of one year of related clinical experience, ideally within outpatient settings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
