This exam will cover knowledge of the actions and side effects of commonly used drugs along with math regarding correct dosages and IV problems. The passing grade on this exam is 90%, and it may be repeated one time. Failure to pass the retake may result in termination of employment. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in the ICU. The nurse will care for a mixed unit of patients, primarily medical, with some neuro and CV surgery patients. The unit typically has a patient bed capacity with a patient ratio of 2/3:1. Experience with CRRT, vents, and hemodynamics is a plus. The nurse is expected to demonstrate a team-oriented approach and maintain professionalism. The dress code requires wearing black scrubs and prohibits hoodies. Candidates are preferred to have CCRN/SCRN certifications and experience in open heart recovery and CRRT. The work schedule includes 36 hours weekly with every other weekend required. No call is required for this position.
