• Licenses/Certifications: CA license required; ACLS, ATLS, PALS preferred
• Experience: Trauma/Critical Care experience preferred; surgical assist verifications required for assisting roles

What You ll Do

• Take patient histories, conduct physical exams, and develop diagnoses
• Review and revise treatment plans following state and federal guidelines
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic and therapeutic tests
• Recognize urgent situations and initiate life-saving procedures
• Counsel patients on health management, medications, and lifestyle
• Assist with admissions, maintain accurate medical records, and coordinate patient care
• Support trauma surgeries as a surgical first or second assist with documented training or proven competence
• Assist in robotic surgeries as a bedside assistant in accordance with certification requirements

What You Need

• Required:
  • CA license (or eligible)
  • Experience in trauma or critical care settings
  • Ability to support trauma services with surgical assistance training/documentation
• Preferred:
  • Certification in trauma or surgery-based skills
  • Prior experience in Level II trauma centers or emergency care

About the Assignment
Join a busy Level II Trauma Center that handles approximately 20-25 ICU trauma patients daily. As part of a skilled team, you'll provide essential trauma and emergency care, supporting one trauma surgeon and managing patient flow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
