Cost Estimator

StaffBright is seeking a Cost Estimator with a global automotive manufacturing organization to support new business development, customer quotations, engineering changes, and product cost analysis. You'll work closely with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams to develop accurate cost models, support customer quotes, and help drive successful product launches. What You'll Do Develop cost estimates for new business opportunities, engineering changes, and service parts Create and maintain manufacturing cost models, target costs, and product cost analyses Analyze manufacturing processes, labor, materials, tooling, and component costs Review manufacturing layouts, blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to develop accurate estimates Support customer quotation activities while managing multiple projects and deadlines Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Program Management teams throughout the quoting process Identify cost reduction opportunities and support competitive pricing strategies Utilize SAP, Excel, and other business systems to support estimating and costing activities What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 3+ years of cost estimating experience within an automotive Tier 1 environment Experience developing cost models, manufacturing estimates, and customer quotations Ability to read manufacturing layouts, blueprints, and component drawings Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and component costing Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with metal fabrication or exhaust-related manufacturing CATIA experience SAP experience Exposure to AI-based business tools The Perks Hybrid schedule | 3 days onsite, 2 days remote Excellent BCBS benefits with low employee cost 13 paid holidays Safe Harbor 401(k) with immediate vesting and 100% match on the first 4% Training and development opportunities Career growth opportunities within a growing department Join a highly visible team supporting new business opportunities and product launches Work for a global family-owned manufacturing organization with a strong focus on employee development and coaching About StaffBright StaffBright connects exceptional professionals with fulfilling opportunities in Finance, IT, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing.
