Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled Shop Foremans. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train shop floor personnel to ensure efficient production and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate workflow and delegate tasks to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues, including equipment malfunctions and production bottlenecks.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials, ensuring availability for production needs.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the shop.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions to minimize defects.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in manufacturing, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality control standards
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership and collaboration
