Currently, we have an Escrow Assistant opportunity with a trusted leader in the title and escrow industry, known for its stability, innovative solutions, and commitment to exceptional customer service. The Escrow Assistant will be responsible for below specific duties: Prepares HUD statements disclosing title/settlement fees, taxes, and payoffs for closing costs and sends to processor (may include mock CD). Reviews title commitments to verify vesting and legal descriptions under supervision of Escrow Officer/Lead. Draws loan documents including escrow/settlement instructions, payoffs, deeds, and schedules notary or attorney as required. Reviews executed documents returned from notary and uploads scanned packages into the system. Reviews recording documents ensuring all originals, affidavits, death certificates, and required documents are included. Assists with auditing final numbers, verifying demands, liens validity, and wire instructions. Tracks lender funding to ensure funds are received and ready for disbursement. Coordinates with Audit/Disbursing Department for file disbursement. Sends notification to clients once funds are disbursed. Required qualifications for the position include: High school diploma required. 13 years of escrow or related experience. Knowledge of escrow processes, title commitments, and closing procedures. Ability to review and manage legal and financial documents accurately. Pay Rate Range: $26.36 - $28.39 per hour Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
