Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Warwick, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Active New York State PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings is required. Clinical experience with geriatric populations preferred. Familiarity with restorative nursing programs, transfers and gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL-focused interventions preferred. Ability to document in electronic medical records and follow facility-specific documentation standards required. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days.
