Phlebotomist

Madison Core Labs is a state-of-the-art full-service independent clinical laboratory, and we are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Phlebotomist in Phenix City, Alabama to join our team! Position Summary Madison Core Laboratories phlebotomists are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis. This position will be expected to work with our Long-Term Care client in Phenix City, Alabama. Working hours will be 5:30am - 2:30pm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs. Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records. Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples. Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing. Answer related patient questions and provide useful information. Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling. Follows instructions and other duties as directed by the supervisor. Skills and Abilities Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Superior Time Management Skills Attention to detail Ability to connect with a diverse group of patients Excellent Interpersonal Skills Experience 5 years related experience, Preferred. Education H.S. Diploma, Required. Certificates, Licenses, Registration Phlebotomy Certification This position does require a clean motor vehicle record.
