Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys variety of projects, partnering across multiple functions, contributing beyond a single specialty area, and helping elevate accounting operations through continuous improvement initiatives. This role will serve as the right hand to the Corporate Controller, manage one Staff member, and offers broad exposure across financial reporting, audit, compliance, process optimization, and operational accounting. Responsibilities will include such things as: Work across a variety of accounting disciplines, providing support where business needs are greatest. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules. Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Partner with stakeholders across finance and accounting to address operational and reporting needs. Drive process enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Support internal and external audit activities and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls. Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives within the finance organization. The successful candidate for this Accounting Manager role will be a hands-on contributor who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is energized by solving problems, improving processes, and supporting business growth. The right candidate will have the following: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (MAcc preferred) CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification (CPA track). 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting and/or audit experience required. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative, team-first mindset with a desire to work across all accounting functions. Proven interest in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Track record of job stability and progression.
