Accounting Manager Full Time Clerical Atlanta, GA, US Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually Job Purpose: Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing and implementing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems while facilitating and performing necessary accounting functions. Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data including creating / approving financial reports for senior management Monitoring cash flow requirements for the company on a daily basis and making recommendations for maximizing effective utilization of cash balances Acting as day to day contact for banking and treasury relationships Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions. Oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Reconciles general ledger accounts on a monthly basis and maintains chart of accounts Files and makes payments for state sales tax. Reviews / prepares monthly financials for client and executive presentation. Importing and exporting of revenue reports into accounting systems. Oversees and maintains accounting calendar; produced on monthly basis. Sets up accounting processes for new locations and assigns location numbers. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assigns tasks within the accounting department to maximize staff utilization and fulfillment. Performs annual performance reviews for accounting team members and makes recommendations on compensation adjustments, hiring, promotions and terminations. Takes lead in interacting with external software experts in maintaining accounting software and disseminating knowledge relating to maximizing utilization thereof throughout the organization Interfaces with outside CPAs with regards to financial and tax reporting Other tasks as required Skills/Qualifications: Degree in Accounting CPA, preferred General Experience in Accounting Financial Software Accounting Software; Yardi Experience preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Evolving Solution Services
