Key Responsibilities Provide direct psychotherapy and counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices in both individual and group therapy settings. Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients while adhering to established clinical protocols. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions in compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations. Engage in peer consultation and attend monthly staff meetings and case conferences to collaborate on treatment strategies and share best practices. Deliver culturally sensitive interventions that respect and honor the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our client population. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic strategies and mental health trends. Patient Population / Client Focus You will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications An active and valid LMFT license in the state of California. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in clinical settings focused on marriage and family therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on collaborative practice. A commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the mental health field. Preferred Experience Experience with various therapeutic modalities, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy practices. Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy to diverse populations, including underrepresented groups.
