Project Manager – Low Voltage / Access ControlLead the planning, coordination, and execution of low voltage, structured cabling, and access control projectsDevelop and manage project schedules, resources, and field personnelCoordinate field technicians and resources to meet project requirements and customer expectationsMonitor project progress and make scheduling adjustments as project conditions changePrepare and manage material requisitions based on approved Bills of Materials (BOM)Coordinate material availability with project schedules to prevent delaysMonitor and evaluate material inventory throughout the projectEvaluate site readiness and identify potential issues that could impact project executionCoordinate site access, badging, and required personnel documentationCoordinate testing equipment and specialized equipment needed to meet project schedulesMonitor project quality and ensure structured cabling and access control installations meet NCS standards and customer expectationsProvide direction, coaching, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) to field personnel as neededAssist with technical and skills training during new employee onboardingReview and maintain project documentation and recordsPrepare and review final as-built markups for customer drawing packagesOversee project closeout documentation and obtain customer sign-offProvide regular project status updates and reportsAttend site meetings, project walkthroughs, and customer meetingsCommunicate project progress, risks, delays, and potential issues to customers, field teams, and internal stakeholdersIdentify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule, quality, or customer satisfactionCollaborate with Estimating, field teams, customers, contractors, and other internal departmentsEnsure all project activities follow NCS policies, procedures, safety requirements, and project standardsPerform other duties as assignedHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction, telecommunications, low voltage, structured cabling, access control, security systems, or a related blue-collar industry5+ years of project management or project coordination experience preferredExperience managing low voltage, structured cabling, access control, security, telecommunications, or construction projectsStrong understanding of project scheduling, material management, field coordination, and project executionWorking knowledge of access control systems, card readers, door hardware, access control panels, REX devices, maglocks, and electric strikes preferredUnderstanding of structured cabling, network infrastructure, and low voltage installation practicesAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to effectively communicate with customers, contractors, field technicians, and internal teamsAbility to work independently while also leading and supporting a teamComfortable working in both office/project management and field environmentsAbility to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and project specificationsAbility to learn and effectively use new software and technologyProficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferredComfortable using mobile applications and technology in the fieldValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility and willingness to travel as requiredAuthorized to work in the United StatesMust successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
