Machine Builder
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Builders for projects located in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Assemble machined and/or purchased components to build automotive diagnostic machines used to diagnose vehicle systems such as brakes.
- Perform mechanical assembly
- Wire junction boxes
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate measurements
- Safely operate a drill press, small mill, band saw, forklift, and overhead crane
- Utilize power tools and assist with welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of machine building experience
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging
