Why join us? Excellent benefits Job Details Position Overview The Framing & Drywall Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects. This role plays a critical part in project success by analyzing drawings, performing takeoffs, and developing detailed cost estimates for framing, drywall, and related scopes. Key Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate estimates Perform detailed material takeoffs for metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and related systems [ziprecruiter.com] Prepare comprehensive cost estimates including labor, material, and equipment Solicit and analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing to ensure competitive bids Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to clarify scope and requirements [jooble.org] Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities Maintain organized documentation of bids, revisions, and project data Participate in pre-bid meetings and support handoff to project management Qualifications 5+ years of estimating experience in drywall, metal framing, or interior construction Strong knowledge of commercial construction drawings and specifications Proven experience with material takeoffs and bid preparation Proficiency in estimating software (EDGE, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and building codes [mwdw.com] Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Interested in hearing more?
