Maintenance Technician

About The Role Voltage is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and facility systems in our manufacturing operation. In this role, you will play a critical part in minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting safe, efficient production. Location: Timberlake, NC (onsite) Schedule: Full-time | Non-Exempt What You’ll Do Receive, install, and commission new production equipment in partnership with vendors. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including crimp presses, cutters, and testers. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Maintain facility systems such as compressed air, HVAC, lighting, and electrical panels. Document maintenance activities and work orders in CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar). Support equipment calibration and validation activities with Quality teams. Respond to equipment failures and production line-down events with urgency. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, basic PLCs). Ability to read electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and mechanical drawings. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience required. Experience maintaining crimp presses (Schleuniger, Komax, Artos) preferred. PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and industrial electrical certifications preferred. Experience installing new equipment in manufacturing or startup environments preferred. Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP PM or similar). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Why Join Us? Work hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment.
