CNC Machinist - 1st SHIFT

We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team!

First shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

Essential Duties

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes and perform progressive machining operations on work involving very close tolerances or unusual requirements

1. Perform complex machining and fitting of various parts, tools and machines in support of production operations

• Program CNC machine with SIEMENS and FANUC Controls using G code and M code for manufacturing of parts

1. Fit and assemble equipment where necessary
2. Operate overhead crane and forklift
3. Able to work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications
4. Use machinists’ hand tools and measuring instruments with skill
5. Be familiar with the working properties of all machined materials
6. Must be willing to work overtime
7. Must have your own tools.

Special Skills

• 2 -3 years of experience operating CNC machines

1. Master Cam Programming a plus
2. Experience in a job shop/ tool room atmosphere preferred
3. Demonstrated competency in computer operation
4. Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
5. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.
