Customer Growth District Sales Manager - Mandarin

This is a bilingual Mandarin field sales opportunity based out of a personal home office. You must live local to your territory in New York, NY   or be willing to relocate to the area. 

As a Bilingual Strategic Cuisines Growth District Sales Manager, you are pivotal to the growth of the Toast brand. You will report into a Regional Vice President and will hire, build, and coach a team of Bilingual Customer Growth Account Executives who are transforming the way restaurants operate. This person wants to be part of a team that is transforming the way restaurants manage and connect with their employees. You will be helping Toast to build and develop a hybrid sales team. We are looking for candidates that have demonstrated success in SaaS sales or a track record of managing strong customer facing and service oriented sales teams with experience in the restaurant industry.

A day in the life (Responsibilities) 

• Manage and develop a quota achieving sales team


• Cultivate, build, and maintain strong client relationships


• Manage the full sales process from initial customer interest


• Learn the Toast Platform and become a product expert


• Assist in training staff and management


• Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics


• Handling and resolving customer complaints

What You'll Need to Thrive (Requirements)

• 1+ years of sales management experience with complex software solutions, preferably software as a service


• Must be able to fluently speak Mandarin and will be expected to coach their reps and communicate with prospects in Mandarin


• Demonstrated sales management building customer facing quota achieving client services team with emphasis on developing sales staff, helping to prospecting, qualify, and closing new business


• Metrics driven for optimum sales performance for the team


• Strong business acumen, goal oriented, with a proven track record of achieving targets


• Driven – possesses a strong desire to be successful, self-starter and a true initiator

What will help you stand out (Nice to Haves/Nonessential Skills)

• Payroll and POS experience is desired but not required


• Experience managing a fast paced, transactional sales team.


• Experience working with software technologies providing customer demos

The estimated Total Targeted Cash compensation range for this role is listed below. Total Targeted Cash for this role includes base salary, commission, and bonus (if eligible). This role qualifies for uncapped commissions. The starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to cash compensation, our total rewards components include benefits and equity (if eligible).
