As a Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for tenants and visitors. You will deliver strong customer service, clear communication, and dependable teamwork while bringing integrity, reliability, and an agile approach to daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe site activity, and communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, support tenant and visitor needs, and help maintain an orderly environment by following post instructions and client location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
