Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with external audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss reports.
• Conduct expense analysis and support financial reporting initiatives.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and support business objectives.
• Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• At least 2-3 years of public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
• Experience with ERP and accounting software systems preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
