About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Preconstruction to spearhead the strategic and operational aspects of the preconstruction function. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and implementing preconstruction strategies that are in line with the company's growth objectives, fostering a collaborative environment, and standardizing departmental processes. This executive role requires a leader with a strong background in MEP construction, complex project delivery, and a proven track record in design-build, estimating, and/or VDC. The VP of Preconstruction will also be responsible for managing the department's P&L, leading pursuit strategy efforts, and ensuring a seamless transition from preconstruction to project execution. Applicants for the Vice President of Preconstruction position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in preconstruction, estimating, or related leadership roles, with a preference for those holding a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. The role demands a leader with strong business acumen, the ability to influence executive-level decisions, and a talent for leading cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial, commercial, or advanced technology projects and be adept at driving excellence in estimating, planning, and early-stage project execution. Building and developing high-performing teams, as well as mentoring future leaders, is also a key requirement for this position.
