What we're seeking:

• Highly qualified paraprofessionals who meet one of the following:
  • Passing score on the Minnesota Para Educator Exam
  • At least 60 college credits (official transcripts required)
• Prior experience or strong interest in special education settings, especially those with higher support needs
• Comfort and willingness to support all daily student needs, including toileting assistance
• Flexibility to work with various age groups (elementary through high school)
• Calm, patient approach to challenging behaviors and a collaborative spirit

Key responsibilities:

• Support students in a Setting 4 environment, assisting those with significant behavioral and/or developmental disabilities
• Implement individualized education and behavior plans in partnership with teaching and therapy staff
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Help students with daily routines, including mobility and hygiene needs
• Contribute to progress documentation and communication with faculty
• Work Monday through Friday, 32.5 hours per week, on a school-year schedule
