Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Danville, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:30

Job Description: Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including all ages. With 24 beds available, the nurse will work alongside a professional team to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities

Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
