8th Grade Science Teacher

Location: Ashland Middle School (Location subject to change at the discretion of the district and student needs.) Date Available: 2026-2027 SY FTE: 1.0 FTE (School Year Position) Job Goal Build positive relationships with students, families, staff and the greater Ashland community. Provide high-quality instruction to students. Engage positively and professionally in collaborative teams to regularly analyze data that will inform and adjust instructional practices to ensure student success. Present a positive image in contact with the parents, community, and staff. Properly handles confidential matters relating to students, student records, parents, staff and any other school-related issues. Qualifications and Responsibilities Wisconsin Certification #1088 Elementary/Middle Level Education or equivalent. Ability to forge positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians of students. Ability to work collegially with department staff, student services, administration, the faculty, maintenance staff, and community as needed. Ability to facilitate student/parent meetings as needed.
