Billing Manager

CuraLinc Healthcare is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Billing Manager to lead all billing operations and oversee the accounts receivable team. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong operational expertise and a passion for building scalable, efficient billing processes within a technology‑enabled services environment. Primary Responsibilities Billing Operations & Close Process Take ownership of all client billing processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing execution. Oversee invoice preparation, review, approval, credit memos, adjustments, and billing schedule maintenance. Manage accounts receivable and payment collection processes to accelerate cash flow and maintain clean AR ledgers. Ensure alignment between billing outputs and contractual terms, especially for custom, high‑value, and non‑standard client arrangements. Billing Operations & Client Lifecycle Management Serve as the Tier 1 billing support function, owning day‑to‑day billing inquiries. Act as the first point of escalation for all billing‑related issues. Oversee the billing inbox including intake, triage, and response tracking. Support custom client arrangements, including high‑value and non‑standard billing structures. Lead setup and maintenance of new client billing terms and configurations. Ensure billing accuracy for complex client contracts and maintain client‑specific billing documentation. Controls, Compliance & Reconciliation Monitor the internal control environment by enforcing billing and AR policies, approval workflows, documentation standards, and audit readiness. Take accountability for accounts‑receivable related balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies. Required/Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Five or more years of relevant professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with large ERP systems (NetSuite SuiteBilling a plus). Desired Attributes Track record of motivating and managing others. Experience establishing or creating scalable billing processes. History of working with billing and/or ERP software. Focus on creating and maintaining procedures that align with a high standard of compliance and internal control. Working knowledge of the general ledger and experience reconciling AR accounts. Passionate pursuit of automation and efficiencies within a high‑volume environment. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally. Proven track record of thriving in a multifaceted environment under short timelines and changing priorities. Experience in healthcare.
