Construction Project Manager - Owner's Representative

Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania



Salary: $125,000-$150,000

An established large engineering and consulting firm is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join its Project Management / Construction Management team in the Allentown area.

This is a high-responsibility position for someone who can take ownership of major capital projects and act as a trusted representative for the owner throughout the project lifecycle.

The firm is involved in large-scale projects across Pennsylvania , including major educational, municipal, commercial and community infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to work on projects with significant visibility while taking on a meaningful level of responsibility for delivery.

The Role

• Manage capital projects from planning and design through construction and closeout
• Act as the owner's representative and primary point of contact for clients
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, architects and engineering teams
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules and financial performance
• Oversee contracts, change orders, purchase orders and project documentation
• Monitor project quality, safety and compliance
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress to clients and senior stakeholders
• Coordinate multiple project teams and ensure successful delivery
• Support proposals and contribute to the continued growth of the practice

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 10+ years of industry experience
• Strong project management experience within construction, engineering, facilities or consulting
• Experience managing capital projects from planning through completion
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, schedules and project controls
• Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar is a plus
• Consulting, PMCM or Owner's Representative experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field
