Our facility in Littleton, CO has an immediate opportunity for a level 3 Master Planner. In this role, you will partner with Program Management drive all phases of program planning from inception through completion to architect, develop, and manage the Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule to meet program strategic objectives. This job requires on site attendance and sometimes extra hours for short term projects or proposals including nights and weekends.
Summary of Key Duties: In this role you will….
• Collaborate with engineering; finance and business operations; and program management while working within the planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline
• Create and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive progress and performance, monitor changes and status, and facilitate communication between partners
• Assist in negotiating hand-offs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required
• Will serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering
This position is contingent upon award of contract which is expected in June 2026

Basic Qualifications:
• Professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity
• Proficiency with a project management schedule networking tool such as Open Plan (preferred), Primavera, Artemis, MS Project, etc.
• Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance
• Critical Path Scheduling methodology
• Proficient knowledge of program management principles, practices, and tools
• Experience delivering briefings to team members and project teams
• Application of Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
• Active Secret security clearance
• 4+ years of program planning experience within the aerospace/defense industry
• Advanced skills with MS Project or Open Plan
Experience with OnePager Pro or Milestones Pro
• Some experience with Data-Driven Metric compliance requirements and surveillance
• Some experience in the application of integrated cost/ schedule techniques
• Strong influencing and relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
• Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)

Work Schedules: This is a 9/80 work schedule and will require extra hours during the week and weekends every once in a while for proposals or quick-turn projects.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
