Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the needs of each family member.

• Assess and develop treatment plans for a variety of issues including alcohol abuse, grief, family conflicts, and challenges related to separation and divorce.

• Utilize telemedicine and in-person services to ensure accessibility for all clients.

• Conduct thorough family and individual assessments to inform treatment strategies.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on enhancing communication skills among family members.
\n
• Document and maintain comprehensive client records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create cohesive care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at the Wellness Support Center will encompass various patient populations, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will address a spectrum of issues relevant to family dynamics, such as blended family challenges, parent-child conflicts, job stress, and relationship difficulties. Each session will prioritize building a therapeutic alliance that empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
