Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg, General Surgery 3W Position Details Location: Mercy Hospital South – 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128 Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours/week Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Compensation & Benefits Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for experienced nurses; Up to $5,000 for new graduates (less than 1 year experience). Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards. Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Nursing Nursing Diploma Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations. Experience Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit. Certifications – Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Education BSN preferred. Licensure Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred. Experience Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
