Operations Supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is IN-PERSON in Batesville, IN. Responsible for the management of shipping and receiving (logistics) and customer service (e.g., order fulfillment, distribution and receivables) operations within the Company’s distribution center. This role supports cross-functional activities, including sales, marketing, finance and quality control. Oversees and supports the customer service and logistics coordination functions to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment and distribution processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

ØManage and oversee customer acceptance, accurate order processing and fulfillment, returns and invoice approval. ØProvide direct support and backup for day-to-day Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator responsibilities, including order processing and phone coverage. ØEnsure appropriate support for the Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance with the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives and applicable procedures. ØSupport accounts receivable collection through systemic email reminders and follow up collection calls, if necessary ØManage inventory shipping and receiving, including periodic physical inventory counts to maintain accurate records ØMaintain effective operational and financial controls to ensure accurate and timely records ØEnsure compliance with policies and standard operating procedures ØManage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy ØCollaborate with other departments and third parties as it relates to operational processes ØIdentify and address problems and opportunities for the Company ØBuild alliances and partnerships with other team members

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

ØExperience in a supervisory position for 2+ years. ØProven ability to grasp new ideas, concept and procedures ØStrong attention to detail with excellent organization skills ØStrong interpersonal and team skills ØStrong Mac and software skills, in particular Microsoft Office ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: ØNetSuite and Salesforce experience, or similar ØStrong written and verbal communication ØAbility to analyze issues quickly and make decisions. ØAbility to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate. ØAbility to maintain a positive attitude and composure in dealing with difficult situations ØExcellent phone presence and presentation
