Travel RN - ICUAmerican TravelerMount Clemens, Michigan, United StatesPosition ID: P-756177Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 2Start date: 2026-10-12$2,110.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 3+ years of ICU experience and an active MI license.DetailsWork in a busy ICU at an acute care hospital and Macomb County's first verified trauma center.ICU patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity; Step Down ratio is 1:3.Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM) with a 36-hour guarantee.Every other weekend required.No on-call requirements.May float to CVICU.Uses Cerner EMR.13-week assignment.RequirementsActive MI RN license required at time of submission (compact license not accepted).Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience required.Completion of at least 1 previous travel assignment required.BLS, ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required.Copy of ACLS certification required for consideration.Skills checklist completed within the past year required for nursing specialties.Michigan license verification (LARA and Nursys) required.Additional InformationDeliver quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team.Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients and plan individualized care accordingly.Evaluate patient responses to interventions and maintain standards of professional nursing practice.Navy blue scrub color required.Facility enforces a strict attendance policy; absences or tardiness of 20+ minutes on 3 occasions may result in immediate termination.Requests for more than 5 days of RTO may affect processing timeline.Candidates seeking more than 7 days off or over 50% of holidays off may not qualify for expedited processing.Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are considered local travelers and receive a reduced travel rate.Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of separation.First-time travelers are not eligible for this position.
