SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Our client is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide professional nursing care and health-related support to students with a wide range of disabilities, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and academic participation within the school environment. CLIENT'S LOCATION Schools are located in Elburn, IL. DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Provides direct professional nursing services, first aid, and emergency care to students age 3-22 with moderate to severe range of disabilities, including Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, Emotional Disabilities, and Multiple Disabilities that include students who are medically-fragile * Utilizes and seeks out health resources to provide evidence-based care that promotes independence for students * Collaborate with parents and school teams in the development and implementation of health care plans for students who need nursing interventions during the school day CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE * Holds a valid, active license issued through the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulations, as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse * Experience in pediatric, special needs or school-based nursing is preferred * Experience working collaboratively with a wide variety of professionals and parents * Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills DTG ADVANTAGES * Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health. * Compensation processed weekly * Increase or decrease your schedule at your discretion: choose opportunities that best fit your schedule * Accessibility to grow professionally.
