Goodwill serving Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania is looking for a hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations at one of our retail locations. What Youll Do

• Support day-to-day store operations and ensure sales and production goals are met
• Schedule, assign, and supervise team members
• Train, coach, and develop employees for success
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Maintain strong merchandising, inventory, and pricing standards
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive store environment
• Promote safety, loss prevention, and operational compliance
• Analyze performance results and support corrective action planning
• Partner with internal programs to support employee and client development
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of retail experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Intermediate computer and digital skills
• Ability to motivate teams and drive results
• Alignment with Goodwills mission and values
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate or Bachelors degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred

Work Environment

• Retail environment with climate-controlled conditions
• Fast-paced setting with changing priorities
• Exposure to dust and donated goods materials
• Occasional outdoor work
• Nontraditional retail hours including evenings and weekends
