Sales Manager Opportunity
This is your opportunity!! Auffenberg Hyundai of Cape Girardeau is in need of a Sales Manager. Business is booming and Chris Auffenberg in Cape Girardeau is seeking a Sales Manager that is passionate about the automotive industry, motivated to succeed and will help us get to the next level. We would prefer new car background and F&I experience but it is not mandatory.

This position interacts daily with customers, sales associates, financial service managers, professionals and support staff.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Setting a clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profits
- Training, developing, and motivating the sales team to achieve key goals and performance expectations
- Driving the business and sales through a high level of involvement in the day-to-day operations
- Managing the negotiation process with the sales associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
- Appraising vehicles for trade
- Managing all three areas of customer traffic: showroom, e-commerce, and phones
- Partnering with the general manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
- Analyzing monthly business and developing action plans to improve performance
What are the requirements for this job?
- Automotive sales management experience
- Proven success in automotive retail sales
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
