Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant position overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer billing, and cash application operations. Supervises two staff accountants and collaborates across internal teams and Eurofins entities to ensure accurate, timely transaction processing and accounting compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review AP invoices through Coupa system with proper documentation and coding verification
• Prepare and validate customer invoices ensuring accurate pricing, customer data, and billing details
• Apply daily customer payments to open AR invoices and investigate unapplied or misapplied funds
• Supervise and provide guidance to two staff accountants on AR billing and collections activities
• Research and resolve invoice, billing, payment, and account discrepancies across systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years progressive accounting experience including AP, AR, and billing
• Proficiency with Coupa or similar procurement and accounts payable systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for investigating discrepancies
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and deadline management
• U.S. work authorization without restriction or sponsorship
