About the Role

Astryd is a unified financial platform for independent businesses — restaurants, boutique fitness, retail, beauty, and service businesses. One login replaces POS, payment processing, payroll, and books.

We're looking for an experienced merchant-services or payments closer who knows how to read a processing statement, spot the markup, and get an owner to a decision. This is a field role — you're in front of business owners, closing, not managing inbound leads from a desk.

Compensation

• $350 per approved, activated account — paid on close
• 50% residual split on net transaction revenue, for the life of the account
• Equity grant, standard 4-year vesting with a 1-year cliff
• No cap on earnings, no territory restriction within NYC
• 100% commission — built for producers already comfortable without a base. If you need a salary floor to perform, this isn't the right fit.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and close independent operators across NYC
• Present the interchange teardown and consolidation case directly
• Manage your own pipeline — no micromanagement
• Minimum 8–10 approved accounts/month

Requirements

• 1+ years merchant services / payments / POS / B2B field sales
• Proven success on 100% commission — not transitioning from a base+commission role
• Comfortable with in-person NYC field sales
• Existing network of business owners a strong plus
