Human Resources Manager

Job Duties

Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for an experienced Human Resources Manager based in our Edina business office. This position will work full-time in our office during training for at least the first 3 months. After successfully completing onboarding, this position will have the option to work a hybrid schedule of 3-4 days on-site and 1-2 days per week remotely, dependent on business needs.

The HR Manager provides hands-on support to all levels of employees in the business office and 11 different clinic locations across the Twin Cities, Brainerd and New Richmond, Wisconsin. Minneapolis Radiation Oncology is a privately owned and operated company with 185 employees total. This position supervises a part-time HR Assistant as well.

Responsibilities:

Administers all employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances with benefits broker; Minnesota Paid Family Leave; vacation and sick time accruals; 401k; etc.

Oversees the recruiting process for office and clinic positions. Participates in screening, interviewing, applicant tracking, background checks, job offers and new hire orientation.

Serves as a helpful resource for employees and managers with questions related to benefits, leaves of absence, payroll, compensation, policies and procedures.

Provides guidance to supervisors and managers on performance reviews, coaching and employee relations issues.

Ensures compliance with annual reports, applicable employment laws and updates handbook policies as needed.

Utilizes UKG HRIS for HR and benefit-related processes. Manages employee data and works closely with payroll and accounting to ensure accuracy of bi-weekly paychecks.

Minimum Experience Required

5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.

Previous experience working in healthcare environment supporting multiple locations is preferred.

Demonstrated experience handling benefits, recruiting and employee relations issues.

Experience with HRIS systems required, preferably with UKG Ready or similar HRIS platform. Microsoft Office proficiency is also required.

Ability to build trust with all levels of employees, maintain confidentiality and work independently or as part of a team while juggling multiple priorities is needed.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are important.
