Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients on a Med Surg Tele unit, including telemetry monitoring and routine assessments
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and monitor patient responses; implement care plans and adjust as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Document care in EPIC accurately and timely; maintain compliance with unit protocols and safety standards
- Respond to patient changes, escalating to the care team as needed; function as a charge nurse when required
- Float to other units as needed and participate in continuing education and orientation activities

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- 1 year of recent experience in acute Med Surg or Telemetry
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and float to other units as needed
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Flexible scheduling; able to work charge shifts; EPIC experience preferred
- Contract duration: 16 weeks
