Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

Performance‑based bonuses for Property Managers. Responsibilities Work independently at multiple locations; spend time both inside and outside. Assess customer storage needs, make suggestions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability. Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits. Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required. Open and close facilities, assist reservation and walk‑in customers, resolve issues, and complete lease agreements. Manage company assets/property and access customer accounts, including confidential information, when responding to break‑ins and delinquent accounts. Accept, enter, and accurately document all customer payments; ensure cash handling and deposits comply with company policy. Make scheduled delinquent calls, execute lien sales, and administer transactions with auction vendors. Physical Requirements Transport and move items weighing up to 35 pounds. Walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal free of debris. Qualifications Experience: Successful candidates come from customer‑service centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies. Transportation: Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle for travel between work locations or other work‑related business. Mileage reimbursement available.
